Wow!!! This is incredibly unbelievable. I have always
accepted this unproved fact that triplets do not live to grow up together.
It is
either one out of the three falls ill and dies or has a mental problem or
something abnormal happens as the stories usually go.
On the other hand, it might be that I haven’t really come
across triplets as often as I’ve come across twins.
Well, I’m not sure but I know a lot of you out there must
have had a similar mindset or accepted the lies that have been told about
triplets. Let me introduce you to the Kenyan ‘Moipei Sisters’ (a.k.a ‘The
Moipei Quartet’).
Moipei Sisters is a group of Kenyan four sisters; a set of
triplet - Mary, Martha and Magdalene and their younger sister, Seraphine.
Report states that these musical teenage angels have been
singing for over a decade, performing at weddings, State and United Nations
functions and church services. They have also represented Kenya in quite a
number of international events in South Africa, Uganda, Tanzania, China, South
Korea, Canada and Venezuela.
In June 2006, the 19 year olds were appointed the first ever
UNICEF Child Ambassadors in Kenya, and Head of State Commendation (HSC) by the
President of Kenya, His Excellency Mwai Kibaki in 2007, for their outstanding
contribution to the music Industry and the nation.
Among the genre of music they sing are; Classical, African,
Opera, Gospel and Pop.
The Moipei Sisters musical group is influenced and managed
by their parents Nicholas Ole and Christine Moipei.
