Odemwingie Having Medicals At Cardiff

On his way: Peter Odemwingie's West Brom career is over and Cardiff have permission to talk to him

Peter Odemwingie has moved another step closer to signing for Cardiff City after agreeing personal terms.
The wantaway striker is having a medical at the Welsh club, with all other terms agreed.

Odemwingie's agent Rob Segal arrived in Cardiff to discuss personal teams on a deal believed to be worth around £4million.
Stoke City were interested in the Baggies outcast and although the Potters were nervous about the signing because of his indiscipline last season, boss Mark Hughes wants him at the Britannia.

Odemwingie’s West Bromwich career is over, with a number of clubs prepared to offer him a lifeline.

The fee is big but Cardiff manager Malky Mackay is in pole position to land the striker.
