The three remaining contestants, Chinedu, Afolabi (Emmanuel) and Cosy almost covered the entire Aguleri forest, making their way to the Boat Landing as directed by one of the scrolls left for them by the Council of Elders (CoE).

From the point where the three remaining warriors met after the sumptuous delicacy, they have been guided by scrolls as they make their journey, gradually drawing close to the place where the General’s Helmet will be retrieved.

As they tried to imagine what the first scroll, “SEE the heart of the hunter” meant, the warriors made their way from the ‘Heart of the hunter’ to ‘Nameless’. They picked another scroll which led them to ‘The Snake’s Village’, ‘Ugwu-agu’, ‘Three Elephant road’ and lastly they were instructed to go to the river and take a canoe to ‘Boat Landing’ where they found yet another scroll which read, “Make camp in the bush and continue in the morning.”

They had made their tent, lit a fire, were resting their backs and chatting when Chidi appeared unannounced from the forest.

Responding to Chidi’s inquiry on how they felt, the Elite warriors said they were very tired and nursing their injuries, having walked for so long in the forest with their loads. According to them they passed specific spots where they lost their fellow warriors.

While giving them what seemed to be like their last information on finding the General’s Helmet, Chidi reminded them that it is determination that has brought them thus far. He advised them on the need to individually start making sense out of the clues they have picked up and take some time to ponder on their meanings because the “end is very close”.

Chidi went on to notify them that the General’s Helmet is not actually hidden anywhere, that the General put all the obstacles on the way of the warriors so that only the worthy warrior gets the helmet. He told them that they must show their ‘rite of passage’ which they must get from the clues before they can proceed to retrieving the Helmet, so, “there is need to keep the clues within reach”.

The contestants, who were told that where they camped for the night might be their last camp, were asked to leave their flag behind because it did not represent who they really are any more.
