GUS The Mission Day 22: Five Pieces Finally
Although she was allowed to come with the others to the place of the task yesterday, Samantha did not see her name against any of the four boxes for the day's task meant only one thing, EVICTION. Samantha had lost the previous day’s task. She became the last girl standing after Evi was evicted for losing the Bucket Trap task. With Samantha gone, there is no female competitor on the Gulder Ultimate Search any more.
In the task of the 'Code Box' yesterday, the contestants were to identify their names on the covered coloured boxes, then return to their work stations to figure out the answer to a riddle. The answer each contestant got was to be the key to open his box.
When opened, the object found in the box (hammer) will be used to cut the rope used to tie a sack of tiles up a tree. The tiles were to be used to solve a puzzle.
Brain and speed were of utmost importance in the task.
Before Samantha left the forest, she disclosed that aside missing sleeping in the same tent with Cosy, she wasn’t going to miss anything else in the forest. She left a message for Cosy which reads,
“Cosy pls let d grace keep u, luv u”.
When asked if he, Cosy was going to miss Samantha, his response was positive. He said they had become very close before her unfortunate eviction.
Chinedu won the task followed by Afolabi and Cosy. Chinedu’s win automatically made him the tribe leader, he took over the leadership from Otto.
Otto who lost in the day’s task is yet to know his fate from the Council of Elders as to whether he will be evicted or given another chance in the competition. He fears he might be allowed to come to the place of today’s task before his eviction will be announced as was done to Samantha. He remained calm throughout the rest of the day.
