Tina Turner will tie the knot with her long-standing partner, German Producer Erwin Bach.
According to Hollywood Life, the legendary performer, 73, will say "I do" for a second time in Europe on July 21. The Queen of Rock has found her king, who is a German producer and has been by her side for 27 years. Apparently, love has everything to do with it!
The long time lovebirds are tying the knot at her Lake Zurich home in Switzerland in a few days. But some other reports said the two will marry at their French Riviera villa. And the couple's friend and famed designer, Giorgio Armani will witness the nuptials, which could be grand and fancy or intimate and understated.
Turner appears to have found happiness after heartbreak. The singer was married to the late notorious Ike Turner, who infamously abused her for years. She finalized her divorce in 1978. Afterwards, the "Private Dancer" singer resurrected her career and found more success as a Grammy-winning artist.
She met Bach in 1985 during his days as a record producer for EMI, and the twosome became an item just a year later. The couple have been living together as man and wife already for more than 15 years in Zurich. And now, after all this time, they are making it official and legal.
Pertaining to her union with Bach, Turner is already living in holy matrimony. "We are one," she recently said. "I am happier than I could have ever dreamed of."
