One of Nigerian’s Gold Medalists in the 52kg weight-lifting at the London 2012 Paralympics, Joy Onaolapo has died.
The Head Coach, Nigeria Power Lifting Federation (NPLF), Are Feyisetan, told the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN in Lagos state that athlete's death was revealed to the NPLF on Friday, July 26.
According to the Coach, the NPLF is yet to be fully briefed on the cause of her death.
Onaolapo who was with the Edo State Sport Council, is a mother of two lovely children.
She was reported to have passed on last week in her home state, Edo.
