Last month The National Enquirer claimed musical legend
Stevie Wonder, 64, and his fiancée Tomeekah Robyn Bracy, 40, were expecting
triplets.
And while the Superstition hitmaker, who already has eight
children, is yet to officially address the news, a fresh report from the New York
Post's Page Six has revealed the Grammy Award-winning artist is overjoyed with
the impending arrival and has vouched to be a more present father.
An insider told The Post, 'It’s Stevie’s mechanism for his happiness. I don’t know that he set out to have 11 children, including triplets at his age, but it’s not like he isn’t happy about it or he can’t afford children. He knows that being a father is a full-time job and now that he’s a little older, he feels like he’s up to the task and he doesn’t want to let any of them down.'
The couple reportedly already have a daughter together.
'Stevie and Tomeeka had their first child together last year. I know because I
attended the baby shower' an insider recently told The National Enquirer.
Late last month Tomeekah beamed with delight on a stroll in
LA with 'their secret daughter', showing off her blossoming baby bump.
The expectant mother flashed her diamond engagement ring
while clad in a blue-and-grey striped dress.
The music legend - born Stevland Judkins - moved into
Tomeeka’s modest LA home following his costly divorce in 2012.
'Stevie never thought he’d be a father again so late in
life. It may not have been planned but now he’s excited!' the source continued.
'He’s been going to all the doctor’s visits and scans with
Tomeeka. He actually can’t wait until the birth. Stevie missed so much of his
other children’s upbringings; he’s vowed to be there for their children and for
his soon-to-be new wife.'
The 22-time Grammy winner's ex-wife Kai Millard Morris
received a chunk of his $110 million fortune as well as spousal and child
support for their sons - Kailand, 13, and Mandla, 9.
Stevie’s 11-year marriage to the fashion designer reportedly
ended due to her suspicions the former child prodigy was cheating.
'Stevie’s been a star since he was a teen and women have
thrown themselves at him for years,' a source said.
Wonder will soon become a father-of-11, having also sired
five children from previous relationships, including former secretary Yolanda
Simmons. He was previously married to Motown singer Syreeta Wright from 1970
until their amicable divorce in 1972. Meanwhile, Bracy is hoping for a boy
after her two-year-old son Izaiah fell to his death from the window of her
third-story apartment in 2004.
'Tomeeka has two other children, daughters Bri Sche’ Milan
and Kenaya Tare’ Fair, but Izaiah was her only son. Now she’s hoping for one
with Stevie,' the insider revealed.
The Isn't She Lovely singer will kick off his 11-date tour -
in which he performs his 1976 album Songs In The Key Of Life - on November 6 at
Madison Square Garden in New York.
The MailOnline have contacted Stevie's reps for
