Senator Ndoma Egba Picks Nomination Form Endorsed By Youths, Elders, Women In His Constituency – Prince Eka Williams

The Senate Leader, Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba has yielded to pressure from his constituents to seek re-election into the Nigerian Senate. This he demonstrated by picking up the form for the Central Senatorial District from the Wadata House, the Peoples Democratic Party Headquarters, Abuja. Continue after the cut...

The pressure came from various stakeholders, youth and women groups in the Senatorial District. They sighted experienced, robust representation, constituency projects, giving a voice to his people among others, as the reason for their clamor for his re-election.

Earlier, some stakeholders in his senatorial district purchased an intent form for the senator to show their unflinching and unalloyed support for the only Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) in the 7th Senate.

This only member of NEC of PDP from Cross River State has been adjudged to be a good party man, loyal to the core and one of the Legal icons of the party. The party stakeholders therefore reminded the party at the National not to encourage disloyalty and agents of destabilization but rather committed and loyal party men should be rewarded.

Senator Ndoma-Egba, the shining light in the Senate has the following achievements to his credit:

· 39 bills in the senate including the FOI Bill, now an act of parliament

· Over 6,000 trained in his free computer training.

· Sponsored so many to the Holy Pilgrimage including Hajj

· Empowered over 1000 people in his various empowerment redefined scheme.

· Facilitated employment, contracts and appointment for many.

· Initiated a special scholarship scheme for his constituent.

Owing to the afore-listed projects, some opined that it will take men with vast connections like Senator Ndoma- Egba to bring Cross River State out of the debt the State currently owes. In the words of the party’s National Organising Secretary, Alhaji Abubakar Mustapha, Senator Ndoma-Egba was described as “a humble and unassuming stabilizing figure in the National Assembly whose enormous influence has brought stability to the nation’s legislature in particular and the nation’s polity in general”.

This humble and amiable gentleman who is not only a rare breed but also a thorough breed, a devoted catholic who believes that assistance and gifts should not be made public is a mentor to many.
